LAW
In addition to being a
foundation for a career in Law in many countries, the Bachelor of Laws
is one of the most valuable universal degrees for a variety of careers.
Each country has its
pre-requisites and entry requirements for students who are interested in
reading Law.
In Malaysia, students who
are interested in reading Law must have the following pre-requisites,
i.e.
1.
a minimum of 3 Credits in SPM level or its equivalent
2. Completed STPM, A-levels, Year 12, New Zealand
Bursaries Examination and
3. Any other qualifications which may be accepted
by the Qualifying Board as
equivalent to the STPM.
Students who complete a
Law Degree shall then have to sit for the CLP (Certificate of Legal
Practice) following which complete a 9 month chambering program before
they are considered for admission to the Bar.
Students are advised to
check with their respective countries on the requirements before reading
for a Law degree. |
